Still here - Thailand

A couple of die-hard blog-watchers have emailed me to check whether I
am still alive, after a blogless week or so.

The short answer is Yes, but thank you for your concern.

The absence of updates recently is due to the lack of internet access
in the wilder and woolier corners of north-eastern Laos. And to the
fact that I'm in a bit of a hurry to get to an undisclosed location in
northern Thailand, where I have a romantic rendezvous arranged; being
late will I think not be appreciated.

Normal update service will I hope be resumed in about a week.

  1. Good stuff - I was a bit worried too. It's v important you know, being able to waste time at work checking up on how your peddling's going.

  2. Romantic rendezvous eh!

Judging by the subsequent deafening silence things must be going well. Considering your girlfriend's probably reading these blogs, I think you're a very brave man to broadcast plans of romantic rendezvous in Thailand.

Don't forget to tell us about the 'lady boys'!

  3. Fascinating creatures though. Looks like a lady but really it's a man... I don't find them attractive, it's just... confusing.

Glad to see that you weren't killed in Hanoi, you've been very vigorous in your bloggage since this trip started.

    Happy trails!

To the point that they know it's me on the phone.... I would urge all other bloggers to drop these people a snail mail saying that Ed should have a guest slot when he comes back from the wild.

I say snail mail because they now reject the every email to do with all the keywords to do with 2wheels etc.

Help make Ed famous and make someone happy send a letter today.

  7. Ah, I see the date now, anon - I think it must be Carl. Lovely parcel, thanks - I now weigh two pounds more than an elephant.

    No, that's an exaggeration.

    By about two pounds, anyway.
